Is GFYS LGBTQ+ Affirming?

Absolutely. All groups and individual sessions with GFYS are LGBTQ+ affirming. As members of the queer community ourselves, we’re dedicated to creating a space where everyone can thrive. We embrace diversity and inclusivity in everything we do, focusing on equality, respect, and fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration for all.

Do the groups have a start and end date?

​

Most groups share the same start date and remain small (between 2-6 people + facilitator). Groups are on-going unless the group decides collaboratively to make changes. Groups are also open to changing the meeting times based if members collectively agree on a new time/date.

​

Does GFYS have in-person services?

​

Yes, Michelle takes in-person creative beauty clients at her resident studios in Manhattan and Brooklyn and also will honor house-calls for one-on-one services.

​

Is tax & Tip included in your beauty services?

​​

Yes, the prices you see are what you pay. Some folks insist on tipping anyway and they do that via venmo but it is absolutely not expected.

 

Quiet or Focused Sessions

Services like the Working Session or Meditative Cut are for if you’d prefer minimal conversation during your appointment.
